Meet Baby Girl Besmer

Born at 1:52 pm on Sunday, April 11th (3 days before her grandpa Domi's birthday) - Violet Rose Besmer came into the world at Clovis Community Hospital.

What a story to tell which I will reserve for later this week.

I have to get into work mode as I will be taking the next 3 weeks to help Aleyna with her 18 month old Ashton and her newborn Violet and only this week to try to get everything caught up and semi-organized.

What a miracle ... and I feel so honored to have been a participant and a witness to this event. Participant because I cut the umbilical cord.

Aleyna's Ninang Luci and Matt's mom, Barb, was there as well.

Domi and I will be going back to Fresno this weekend. I can't wait to see the changes in her appearance as she becomes accustomed and acclimated to life outside her mommy's womb.

Violet was 6 lbs 9 oz and about 18 1/2 inches long.

Congratulations to Ryan & Rosalinda!!!

Also, congratulations to Rosalinda and Ryan Kenney who also gave birth to Janae Jacquelyn Kenney.

Janae was due on March 27th but was born on Monday, April 5th.

I believe she was 7 lbs something oz. and 20 1/2 inches long.

I'll get more details from Nana Virgie (Grandma Virgie).

Another birthday we will be celebrating soon is Sofia and Jan's daughter Brittany. Britti and Q will be bringing Abigail Rose into the world this month as well.

A New Blog ....

Well, family ... I had to create a new blog...

For those of you who have been checking in from time to time, something happened to the previous site and I had pop ups I couldn't stop. So I deleted the blog and am starting anew.

Just back from Aleyna's baby shower -- hosted by Luci Azevedo, Tryna Delacruz and Jenny Donato. It was a fun afternoon with lots of laughter and conversation, games, food and drink and of course FAMILY!

Aleyna is now a few weeks away from having her 2nd and last child and I am a few weeks away from having my first granddaughter. I am SO looking forward to it. Grandchildren are a joy and I can't wait for the time I can spend my days watching over them and helping them grow.

Well, I just wanted to start the blog and let everyone know what the new website address is.

Rosalinda and Ryan are due to have their baby any day now and Aleyna and Brittany are both due on or around April 27th. Check out Aleyna's blog or facebook page for pictures and Brittany has also posted pics from her baby shower from a couple weeks ago.
